Purpose

In order to encourage major universities and colleges to respond to industrial and social needs, the Ministry of Education has established cross-disciplinary degree programs to train cross-disciplinary talents.

 

Connotation

The course is a package course for a certain type of knowledge (especially in emerging areas) in response to the needs of industrial or social changes.

Courses in specific fields have been offered in various departments, so the courses are mostly offered in a cross-disciplinary form.

 

Purpose of the course

Scientific progress, aging population, and health have become the most important issues in society. Health care and long-term care are one of the main government policies at this stage. In particular, China's long-term care insurance is about to be implemented, and the demand for the cultivation of health care personnel has increased rapidly. In addition to health management, for health care, biotechnology knowledge must follow scientific advancement and knowledge diversification, and it should also involve more strategies. Health nutrition and biotechnology talents also need to understand the requirements for health care. Therefore, this credit course is designed for students who are interested in or willing to learn about future scientific progress and aging population in the Department of Health Industry Management, Health Nutrition and Biotechnology, Biotechnology or other departments.
